The Hobbit Rocks in HFR!!!
Watched the movie last night in the new HFR (High Frame Resolution) format and 3D... I'm not a big fan of 3D movie but I have to admit this new new technology makes a huge difference. Basically HFR is a higher frames per second format, usually movies are shoot in 24 frames per second, in HFR the number of frames double to 48 FPS which create a more detailed image and color/bright accuracy... the only caveat is that at the beginning I felt I was not watching a movie but more a television set but when the scenes moved to exteriors it was amazing... I was able to watch a 3 hours 3D movie with full enjoyment (of course the movie is cool too!). Hope more movies in the future come with this format.
